Position Title: Training and Placement Officer
Role Overview:
As the Training and Placement Officer at IMM Business School, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating
the career development and placement process for our students. With an intake of over 240 students
annually, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with industry
partners to ensure successful placements and internships for our students. Your role will also involve
designing and implementing training programs to enhance students' employability skills and
coordinating placement activities to match students with suitable employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
A. Industry Engagement:
1. Develop and nurture relationships with a wide range of industry partners, including
corporations, startups, and organizations relevant to the fields of study offered at IMM Business
School.
2. Identify emerging trends and requirements within the job market to tailor training and
placement strategies accordingly.
3. Collaborate with industry stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
B. Training Program Development:
1. Design and implement training programs focused on enhancing students' technical skills, soft
skills, and industry-specific knowledge.
2. Collaborate with faculty members to integrate industry-relevant content into the curriculum.
3. Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures featuring industry professionals to provide
students with practical insights and networking opportunities.
C. Career Counseling and Guidance:
1. Provide personalized career counselling to students, assisting them in identifying their career
goals and developing action plans to achieve them.
2. Conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, and other career readiness workshops to prepare
students for the job application and interview process.
3. Offer guidance on job search strategies, networking techniques, and professional development
opportunities.
