As a Deputy General Manager / General Manager specializing in Defence Sales, you will play a key leadership role in driving the
sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the execution of Defence sales initiatives. This position requires a
seasoned professional with extensive experience in Defence sales, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor a high-
performance sales team.
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of the Defence sales strategy.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government officials, Defence agencies, and major Defence
- Seeding product requirements at both HQ level and also in Command & Corps HQs of Army, Navy & Air Force.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer
- Lead and mentor a team of Defence sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and contribute to professional development plans for
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Defence sector, including partnerships, alliances, and
- Drive the expansion of the Defence sales portfolio and explore diversification opportunities.
- Oversee the negotiation of Defence contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Hands on experience of handling complete tender procurement cycle in Army / Navy / Air Force starting from preparing
response to RFI/EOI/RFP, formulating technical & commercial bids, conducting trials, participation in price negotiation
