Role Definition
The Group EA/CoS will be an enabler to the Group ELT's (steering committee) mandate to
dynamically evolve organisational strategy and successfully propel the group's strategic priorities.
This role will serve as the eyes and ears for the Group ELT (GELT), connecting business heads and
function heads, internal projects, and critical business information to the GELT, ensuring meetings
and materials are efficient and effective and will serve as a trusted partner to deliver against the
organisational priorities of the GELT.
Remit
(1) Planning & Reviews: Develop a deep understanding of our businesses and its levers to enable establishing Long-Range Strategy Plan for all Businesses develop the framework for Annual Business plans anchored by the long-range plans drive Monthly Business Review process for effective and meaningful business reviews to be
presented by Business Leaders to Group Steer Co
identify and develop through the Business Review Process, (a) systemic lead indicators and lag
indicators, (b) headwinds and tailwinds, and (c) roadmap for doubling down and mitigation
planning respectively
(2) Business Intelligence: Anchor the establishment and dynamic maintenance of BIW for informed
decision making
develop and articulate a strategic synthesis of outside-in and inside-out perspectives identify and articulate reminiscent business insights identify and develop an evolving charter of inorganic growth opportunities prepare documentations for executive meetings with external/internal stakeholders, support
board meetings and the preparation of business materials for board meetings
(3) Transformation: Anchor the group transformation agenda develop the short term-medium term-long term cohesive transformation framework across
businesses and functions to support long range strategy plans identify and establish the internal projects to be undertaken for transformation, for unlocking
evolving opportunities, for mitigating emerging risks
