Core Responsibilities
As a head, you will be responsible for
1. Defining the TECH culture of the place.
2. Providing a roadmap for the adoption of Digital Technologies.
3. Implement the staircase to growth strategy by understanding the underlying core competencies of the company.4. Review OEMs and forge a win-win strategy by understating the business landscape.
5. Work in an agile environment to design and implement new features based on business requirements.
6. Help the team members resolve difficult technical issues.
7. Provide estimates for development work.
8. Be hands-on in key projects and also do reviews of critical features.
9. Make sure development team deadlines are met in a timely manner.
10. Face the Customer and help resolve Technical roadblocks
11. Effectively communicate with team members, the QA team, Supply chain and product managers.
12. Implement knowledge management.
Skills/Experience Requirements
1. Passionate about technology and building a world-class product with high quality.
2. Strong ability to come up with solutions to different technology problems.
3. Must be familiar with advanced principles of object-oriented analysis and programming, Indian Defense Maps and Hardware design. Have understanding of AI and ML, Analytics, Cloud (private & public) & IoT.
4. Must be aware of MIL qualifications such as JSS 55555, MIL-STD-461, ARINC, DO-178B, EMI/EMC test
standards, etc.
5. Must have undergone through the entire lifecycle of product development (both hardware and software). Should have integrated Mechanical drives with Electronics equipment & developed firmware for at least one product.
6. Experience with Drone Tech, Communication (Analog, Digital, TETRA, 4G-LTE/5G, SATCOM), RF & Sensors / payloads (Land, water, air).
7. Experience in dealing with defence clients & must be aware of defence procurement and DRDO procurement plans.8. Excellent time management skills and the ability to take responsibility for deliverables.
