Job Responsibilities:
Teaching:
1. Delivering high-quality instruction in Human Resource Management and related subjects at
undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
2. Developing and updating course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
3. Mentoring and advising students on academic and career development.
Research:
1. Conducting original research and publishing in reputable academic journals.
2. Securing research funding and contributing to the institution's research profile.
3. Organising and participating in academic conferences, colloquiums and workshops.
Other Service:
1. Engaging in departmental and institutional service activities.
2. Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and program reviews.
3. Participating in community outreach and industry partnerships.
4. Mentoring students
Qualifications:
1. Although a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognized university
will have a slight edge, we can also consider MBA with significant industry exposure.
2. Some exposure in teaching at the university level.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
4. Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. A strong record of scholarly research and publications.
2. Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching methods.
3. Experience in supervising student research and theses.
